Materials Required for Notarization of Power of Attorney

Identity Proof: For individual citizens, the client needs to provide their resident identity card and household register. In the case of a legal entity entrusting others, the entity should submit the proof of its legal person status and the identity proof of its legal representative. When applying for notarization of a contract of agency, the identity and qualification proof of the agent also need to be provided.

Text of the Power of Attorney: A written document that clearly states the entrusted matters, scope of authority, time limit, and other contents.

Related Proof Materials: For example, if someone entrusts others to handle the sale of a house, the client should submit the proof of ownership of the house. For matters involving property relations, relevant property right certificates must be submitted.

Depending on the specific entrusted matters, other materials such as the marriage certificate when purchasing a house, the resolution of the shareholders' meeting, etc. may also be required.

Processing Time

Generally, the notary office will issue the notarial certificate within fifteen working days from the date of accepting the notarization application. However, if there are force majeure events, or it is necessary to supplement proof materials or verify relevant information, the time required for these situations will not be included in this period, and the processing time may be extended.

Notarization Fees

Basic Notarization Fee: It usually ranges from dozens to hundreds of yuan. For example, for notarizing a power of attorney and other matters, the fee is generally 10 yuan.

Translation Fee: If the power of attorney involves foreign-related affairs and needs to be translated into English or other languages, the translation fee varies depending on the length and complexity of the text, generally ranging from several hundred to over a thousand yuan.

Express Fee: If an expedited service is required, the notary office may charge an additional express fee, which generally ranges from dozens to hundreds of yuan.
