Submit an international application

(1) The PCT application shall be made to the National Office which is the receiving office of the PCT. At the time of the application, the PCT patent applicant must specify the Member States in which the application will be valid.

2,The State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO), as the designated receiving office of the PCT, will only accept international applications filed by nationals or residents of the People's Republic of China, if there are multiple applicants in the international application, at least one applicant's nationality or residence is China. The State Intellectual Property Office of China accepts both Chinese and English.

3,After accepting the PCT application, the State Intellectual Property Office will conduct a formal review of the applied documents, and consider that the patent application documents and patent application procedures are complete, that is, the international application date is determined, and the application date also becomes the actual application date in a designated country.

4,After the examination, the application documents will be sent to the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization and the international search authority respectively.
